Founder & principal advisor
Independent executive advisor · Business & technology strategist
Brian has spent more than 25 years helping executives navigate enterprise technology, operational transformation, and complex business decisions. His career includes leadership and strategic-account roles with Oracle and Infor, along with experience across other technology and consulting companies, working with organizations ranging from high-growth businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises.
His experience spans financial services, construction, engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and the public sector, with work across finance, human resources, sales, marketing, operations, and IT. His technology experience includes ERP, enterprise applications, AI, analytics, cloud platforms, workforce optimization, and large-scale transformation.
Having worked inside the technology-provider ecosystem, Brian understands how software vendors, implementation partners, internal IT organizations, procurement teams, and business executives approach major initiatives—and where their priorities can diverge.
He founded BHz Advisory to give leaders a discreet and independent perspective focused solely on what is right for their organization.
Why that experience matters
Frame technology decisions in terms of business priorities, economics, risk, operating impact, and measurable value.
Understand enterprise applications, AI, analytics, cloud, capabilities, dependencies, and where specialist depth is required.
Recognize how software providers position value, structure deals, qualify opportunities, and influence decision processes.
Understand the roles and incentives of leaders across IT, finance, HR, sales, marketing, operations, procurement, vendors, integrators, and specialists.
Identify weak assumptions, missing stakeholders, fragile alignment, and the questions that improve a decision.
The advisor an executive engages is the advisor doing the work—senior-level throughout.
“Technology should serve the business, and the business should understand technology.”
